[vsnet 908] Comparison sequence for ST Mon by Landolt

Below is a list containing precise positions and identifications for
thirteen stars observed by Landolt (1973 PASP 85, 203) in the field of red
variable ST Monocerotis. The field was observed for the AAVSO at the request
of Clinton B. Ford.
The results are presented in a format similar to previous reports. The
positions come from the GSC (source code G) or the USNO A0.9 catalogue (A).
Landolt's BV photometry is reproduced for convenience; the second line of each
entry shows the "average deviation" of the measures as supplied in the paper.
Column 'n' shows the number of nights each star was observed; Landolt usually
measured the stars two or three times each night. Landolt notes that star 9
may be variable.
There is no precise position for ST Mon in the literature, nor does it
appear in the GSC, so the position from A0.9 is given. The star is quite
bright on the digitized sky survey (i.e. the POSS-I red plate).
