Why is the Galileo spacecraft looking at delta Vel?
I thought NASA always used Sun + Canopus to orient their spacecraft. And
I can't imagine Galileo wasting any of its precious low-data-rate
transmission time on anything not related to Jupiter or essential
spacecraft functions.
Maybe I'm missing something really obvious...I'm puzzled.
cheers,
