Hi, folks:
Does anyone know some transformation formula to convert R-I magnitudes to B-V? I
guess it's not possible but I've got nothing to lose...
I would like to know if a 0.24 R magnitudes variation in an A2 star can
have a V- variability counterpart.
This is for the case of 3 Pup (NSV 17577), a V=3.96 star with A2Iabe
spectral type.
By the way, IBVS#2950 gives A3q as its spectrum.
What does the "q" mean? Is it anything to do with P Cygni profiles in the
spectra?
Thanks,
Sebastian.
