In a paper posted this week to the Los Alamos preprint server, Clocchiati et al. (1999 ApJ, submitted) provide a deep BV sequence for the distant supernova SN 1992ar. This event was located in a tight trio of galaxies at redshift of z=0.15. Below I show USNO-A2.0 coordinates for the sequence stars along with the BV data. Their R-band data unfortunately lead to V-R colors inconsistent with B-V for the same stars (they admit having observed R magnitudes in a non-standard way), so I have omitted them here. The uncertainties on the faintest stars below are ~0.1 mag. This sequence, by the way, compliments existing data in the same sky survey field, and extends the calibration past mag. 20. \Brian Name RA (2000) Dec s GSC V B-V SN 1992ar 1 23 17 24.4 -44 39 34 A 16.15 0.65 SN 1992ar 2 23 17 23.2 -44 38 58 A 18.48 0.89 SN 1992ar 3 23 17 21.0 -44 38 10 A 16.72 1.14 SN 1992ar 4 23 17 30.2 -44 38 00 A 17.61 1.44 SN 1992ar 6 23 17 31.3 -44 39 46 A 17.05 0.67 SN 1992ar 7 23 17 34.5 -44 36 54 A 17.99 0.62 SN 1992ar 11 23 17 28.0 -44 37 19 A 20.04 1.38 SN 1992ar 13 23 17 35.1 -44 37 17 A 20.22 1.44
