Greetings all.
Thank you Gary for forwarding the message I wrote from work last night! I
found your first message to be very exciting. Together with Bruce's
information I read this morning, it helps to confirm my original opinion.
And thank you Bruce for this information:
<< This star is identical with GSC 0526-01562 and is the star identified by
Tsesevich and Kazanasmas (1971) as EV Aqr. >> I was previously unaware of
this reference.
There is a minor clarification to my previous write up:
The statement, "It was the message from Dr Kato, about the potential
misidentification "
Should have read:
It was the message from Dr Kato, about the potential misidentification of a
red variable and the possibility that it had been mistaken for a Z Cam type
star at standstill was cruical to helping me arrive at what I hope is a
mystery solved for EV Aquarii.
The VSNET is a very powerful tool. I am greatful it is there for us to use to
share this information with.
Clear Skies,
Lance
