G'day all,
Our Nova Velorum 1999 page (http://vsnet.assa.org.au/vstars/nvvel99.htm)
has just been updated. The charts have been slightly amended to reflect
Gordon Garradd's astrometry; but because of the rotten weather
I still haven't been able to check them against the real sky yet!
The page now includes some beginner-level explanation of a nova
(good idea, Rob) as well as a daily summary of our observations.
Nova Vel peaked at 2.5-2.6v and will probably be 4th magnitude by
Wednesday evening. Don't procrastinate ;-)
