I've placed in
http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequence/requests.oct
the current list of requested sequences for October. Remember, the deadline is October 14,
and I do not promise to get any sequences beyond those that I can obtain in my October
observing run. The current weather forecast is not great, with a front due in about
Thursday which may or may not hang around long enough to affect the beginning of my run.
If this happens, I'll extend the run a night in hopes of getting some photometric
weather.
Our weather normally starts to deteriorate about mid-November. What this means is that
I can no longer expect 3-4 night stretches of photometric weather, but will instead have
1 or 2 nights in a 5-night run that will be photometric. This means my normal scientific
projects take precedence and requests can no longer be serviced. The next opportunity
would be in May, and whether I will extend this service will depend on how the current
set of requestors handle the data I have made available.
