[vsnet-chat 1051] SV Sge

Since there has been some question about this carbon star field, I checked
it last night, and got the following results (all coordinates J2000):
star RA DEC V verr B-V bverr
SV Sge 19:08:11.77 +17:37:41.2 15.639 0.02 2.423 0.04
comp 19:08:11.33 +17:37:26.5 14.800 0.02 0.831 0.02
(Simbad coordinates for SV Sge: 19:08:11.8 +17:37:39)
(Hipparcos coordinates: 19:08:11.78 +17:37:41.2)
(observation date for the above photometry: HJD 51010.8365)
The 149 comparison star is therefore about 16 arcsec SW of the variable, and
so difficult to confuse if a reasonable finding chart is used.
