[vsnet-chat 645] (fwd) Re: ISN news (from Yamaoka)

Dear ISN members, the CBAT members, and SNe enthusiasts,

I conceptionally agree with Dr. Kato, but the viewpoint as a network
administer, the access log is not sufficient to identify the malicious
access. They can assume a false name, a false country, and even can
erase their footmarks. In order to avoid this cracking activity,
the system administer should have to pay the immence and endless
efforts for the network watch.

This is also the case for easily cracking. We administer cannot (or
have to make special efforts and kind coorperation with admins on the
other sites to) hunt up the sender when many relaying sendmails (daemon
processes) exist between the sender and the receiver.

But, as repeatedly mentioned by everyone, I also think the circulation
of the information in the network should not be avoided in order to get
earlier confirmation and specrtoscopy of the transient objects. We
should constract the firm way to distribute the call for confirmation.
I believe that the firmly constucted manner in using the network will
also decrease the trouble of CBAT in the management of the flood of
the discovery information.
