I think the discrepancies in the SS Cyg field among the published UBV
photometry and Tycho results from both particularly crummy work in this
field by the ground-based observers, and also the rather large errors in
the fainter Tycho stars. I looks like the Lenouvel & Daguillon sequence
is probably most nearly correct, but the field should be observed again
to clear up the inconsistencies.
For Kato-san: for future comparisons, it would be useful to include
the Tycho errors for each star in the same way I have done with my results
(put the end-figures of the errors on the second line of each entry,
something like:
V B-V
9.35 0.35
.03 .03
10.41 1.14
.15 .20
....etc.
