V485 Cen

While surveying previous data on V485 Cen, the peculiar SU UMa-type
dwarf nova below the CV period minimum, I have noticed that the star
was also discovered by M. Huruhata (during his stay in Harvard?), with
the following remarkable finding.
According to the description in Glasby's famous "The Dwarf Novae",
the star is described as "... a very short mean period of about 10 days
has been assigned to it. There is still some uncertainty about this
period and further observational data are needed in order to confirm it
or otherwise since, if found to be accurate, it is the shortest mean
period of all the U Geminorum variables ... indeed, it is more like
that of a Z Camelopardalis star ... although we do have a close counterpart
in SU Ursae Majoris". (The class "SU UMa stars" was not yet recognized
at the time of Glasby's writing.)
Has this short-period nature been confirmed by recent observations?
Does V485 Cen bear characteristics of a Z Cam-like SU UMa star, as already
insightfully suggested by Glasby? Clearly continued close monitoring
of this object is of utmost importance.
