The GCVS4 citation to Chinese Astronomy 4, 323 is in error, as this
deals only with V 879 Sco. Interestingly, this citation is listed for several
stars, though only one is discussed! Perhaps the relevant citation is to
page 389 in the same volume, which lists several new flare stars and other
variables in the rho Oph region. but there is so object in that paper with
a position near the nominal one for V893 Sco, although Astron Tsirk. 711 is
cited there. Quite a mess!
Does Berto know something we don't know?!
