V699 Oph: VSNET page and identification image Dear Colleagues, We have prepared the following VSNET page on V699 Oph. http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/DNe/v699oph.html The page shows an outburst image from Peter Nelson, alight curve of early-stage superhumps, and Henden/Sumner sequence. The page also includes selected past information how the star became recognized as a genuine dwarf nova -- would be interesting to follow the links and read associated documents in the past. We must remember that there was a severe doubt against the CV classification until only a few years ago, when the VSNET visual observers detected unmistakable outbursts! -- Congratulations to all, the present discovery is not only comteporaneous CCD observations, but also a result of a long-term persuit by amateur-professional collaborative study!
