GO Com: rapid fading stage! Dear Colleagues, The most recent data from Tom Krajci indicate that GO Com has entered the rapid fading stage! The object was reported to fade by 0.5 mag on June 14. This fading very likely signifies the termination of the superoutburst plateau. The duration of the superoutburst plateau is not unusual for an SU UMa-type superoutburst in spite of several peculiarities in the superhumps. The object is expected to rebeighten within a week, of even within a few days. If the case is latter, the rebrightening may be analogous to AL Com and WZ Sge-like one. In either cases, the present rapid fading and early post-superoutburst stage provides an unique opportunity to study the late superhumps in this unusual system -- we may have to wait for another decade to observe the same stage! Please continue observing even if the object may look a bit faint for your telescope (do not attempt to lengthen the exposure times longer than a few minutes). Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
