I reported on my webpage devoted to WZ Sge a similar feature, occurred on Aug. 6.04. It is the very same you observed. Something similar appeared also the following night. I don't know if there is any connection to the observing spectral window, but I worked unfiltered with a CCD camera peaking in the R part of the spectrum. I'm just getting another run, as previously reported. The sky is VERY excellent and I hope to get very high S/N measurements.
