[vsnet-alert 7744] Re: V1362 Cyg brightening reported by T. Ohshima



It looks like a Be star with rather large amplitude variability: V= 8.09 -
8.23 from Hipparcos+GCPD.
Although it's very luminous for this class.
Anyway, one full magnitude brightening is even more than the strongest
outburst recorded for GCAS stars (delta Sco, ome CMa, gam Cas).
So the only thing that's left is to keep observing and confirm the event!
