Subject: XMM-Newton counterpart of IGR J16318-4848
This is to alert you that XMM-Newton has performed a
ToO observation of our first INTEGRAL transient source,
IGRJ16318-4848, on February 10. A bright and absorbed
X-ray source was found well inside our error box at
16 31 48.6 -48 49 00 (J2000) with position error of
4 arcseconds. This source is likely the soft X-ray
counterpart of our hard X-ray source. See details at
