   Being the best known object in the entire sky, I would expect there
may be existing immediately preceding or "just in burst" images or
photographs of M1 and its surroundings.  Please send any such
images/photographs to Yamaoka-san (yamaoka@rc.kyushu-u.ac.jp) for
further examination.  For CCD images, the FITS format is preferred.
