[vsnet-alert 7578] HETE 2441 = Messier 1 ?

Dear coleagues,

  HETE (High Energy Transient Explorer) II detect a X-ray transient on
Nov. 9.112 (02:41:36.16) UT. The reported position was 05h34m01s,
+22o02'56" (error circle diameter = 60'), which includes the crab
nebula = Messier 1 (05h34m31s.97, +22o00'52".1).  To my knowledge,
this is the first time that the crab nebula is detected (say,
localized) by HETE II, so something unusual can undergoes on Messer 1.
The urgent follow up observation of Messier 1 is extremely urged.

Sincerely Yours,
Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan
