BF Ara rapid fading stage with double superhumps! Dear Colleagues, Peter Nelson has kindly sent a new set of CCD observations of BF Ara (now established SU UMa star) taken on Aug. 27. The data show a rapid fading at a rate of 1.4 mag/day. The star seems to have entered its rapidly declining stage. Double-wave superhumps (likely usual superhumps and late superhumps) are strikingly seen. Thanks to all observers, we now have a nearly complete picture of the BF Ara superoutburst, recorded in detail first time in the history! Further observations (if possible) are strongly encouraged to follow the development of late superhumps, and expected next normal outburst(s). Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
