New radio-selected CV in Sextans During the FIRST ("Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty Centimeters") 1.4 GHz radio survey, using the Very Large Array, the radio source FIRST J102347.6+003841 has been identified with a previously unknown 17th-mag Galactic cataclysmic variable (CV). Spectroscopic observations suggest that the CV is a DQ Her- or AM Her-type magnetic CV, as are the handful of other CVs that are known to be radio sources. CCD photometry obtained at Kitt Peak shows rapid flickering and slower variations with a peak-to-peak amplitude of at least 1 mag, but has not as yet revealed the orbital period. Although the object is rather faint, further observations as well as examination of archival materials would be useful in establishing the orbital period, and in searching for the "high" and "low" states shown by many AM Her systems.
