over the weekend I made a CCD image of the V381 Nor field. Nothing to
see down to approx magn 17.5R. It's a crowded field too. The scarce
optical photons from XT 1550 are drown in the MW background.
I don't think I'll do that one over...

V381 Nor = XTE J1550-564
According to IAUC 7795, a new transient (the relation to V381 Nor
is
not yet known) radio source appeared at the following position.
155055.97 -562833.5 (J2000.0)
Worth watching at this position, too.
