SW UMa fading from superoutburst
Dear Colleagues,
SW UMa is gradually fading since the rapid fading from superoutburst.
Although there was an indication of slight brightening on Mar. 6, no
pronounced rebrightening has been observed yet. (Late) superhumps are
gradually decaying. Observers are still urged to monitor for a possible
rebrightening, which could be expected to occur around this time as
experienced in other SU UMa-type dwarf novae. If such an event would
occur, the present intensive post-superoutburst observations would
provide a crucial role in interpreting the rebrighteing mechanism.
We have also updated the combined light curve on the VSNET SW UMa
page (http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/DNe/swuma00.html). New
data are from Denis Buczynski, Elena Pavlenko and Sergei Shugarov,
Gianluca Masi and Alessia Cassetti, and the Kyoto team. The total
number of observations to draw the light curve is 28421.
