I have some observation data after the date 51551 as follows.
UT JD-2400000 Mag.
2000/1/7 15:00 51551.125 13.9
2000/2/4 15:34 51579.149 13.7
2000/2/9 14:47 51584.116 13.5
2000/2/11 15:31 51586.147 13.4
2000/2/16 13:49 51591.076 13.4
2000/2/16 13:50 51591.076 13.4
2000/2/27 10:26 51601.935 13.3
2000/3/2 12:26 51606.018 12.8
2000/3/8 15:26 51612.143 12.6 tonight
The brightening is announced in vsnet-alart 4162:
http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/alert4000/msg00162.html
Rrecent data are mentioned in vsnet-recent 54702, too:
http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/recent54000/msg00702.html
The increasing speed is 1.1mag/33days = 30 days/mag (from 13.7 to 12.6,
assuming linear increase).
