XTE J1550-564 observations by Garradd

   As reported in vsnet-obs, Gordon Garradd (Loomberah NSW Australia)
successfully observed the X-ray transient XTE J1550-564.

   The object is sufficiently bright for CCDs (unfiltered CCD mahnitudes
about 14.4).  By a comparison with the reported V magnitude of 16, the
object may be either significantly reddened or brightened since.

   Further observations are very encouraged.
