(fwd) On nova in M32 (Beam) Bill Beam's message: From wbeam@ptialaska.net Fri Sep 11 18:38 JST 1998 From: "Bill Beam" <wbeam@ptialaska.net> Date: Fri, 11 Sep 1998 01:37:16 -0800 Taichi, Marko, Here is my image of M92. Marko Moilanen's suspect nova is at the SSW edge of the gx core. North is up and East is left. This object is not appearant in The Carnegie Atlas of Galaxies. Telescope: AstroPhysics 180mm f/9. Camera: Cookbook CB245. Guiding: ST4 on Vernonscope 94mm f/7. Images: 30 exposures of 120 sec. Time of exposures: 1999-09-11 0618-0751 UTC. I estimate magnitude at 17.9 compared to GSC2801-2023 at mag 13.1 2034 at mag 13.2 2082 at mag 12.4 however this estimate is suspect due to the glare of the gx core.
