AL COMAE BERENICES Time-resolved V-band CCD photometry of AL Com with the 0.60-m reflector at Ouda Station, Kyoto University, on Apr. 7.487-7.801 UT clearly shows the existense of double-humped brightness modulation which can be inter- preted as "early superhumps" observed in WZ Sge-type dwarf novae (cf. HV Vir, Kato and Sekine, PASJ submitted). The best estimate of the period and the amplitude are 0.0569 +/- 0.0001 day and 0.07 mag, respectively. By analogy with WZ Sge and HV Vir, this period may reflect the orbital period of this system; we may expect "true" superhumps with a period a few percent longer than this will grow in a week or so. Further observations are strongly encouraged. Taichi Kato Department of Astronomy, Kyoto University
