Dear Michael, Taichi, Yasuto, and Bjorn,
On April 7.15 UT, 1994, I estimated SN 1994D's visual magnitude at 12.7,
using comparison stars of magnitudes 12.6 and 13.4 from AAVSO Alert Notice
182. A 28 cm SCT (373x) was used to make the estimate.
Yet another supernova!
On April 7.16 UT, I estimated SN 1994I's (in M51) visual magnitude at 13.2,
using comparison stars of magnitudes 13.7 and 13.5 from the Thompson and
Bryan chart for this galaxy. A 28 cm SCT (155x) was used to make the estimate.
Clear skies,
William (W. G. Dillon, Missouri City, Texas, USA)
