Observation of Nova Sgr 2002 Nr.3 (V4743 Sgr)
23.Sep. 18:30 UT Nova appeared as bright as SAO 187584 and noticably less bright
than SAO 187519 in 7 x 50 binoculars. Sky was exceptionally clear so that the
low position in the sky presented no problem. Limiting magnitude near nova was
8.0.
Using the magnitudes given on S.Otero's finder chart this translates to 6.24m.
Uncertainty is estimated as +-0.05m.
