The RCB star V517 Oph has apparently commenced to fade as indicated by the
following visual observations:
STAR YYMMDD(UT) MAG OBSERVER
OPHV517 990815.427 117 WPX
OPHV517 990816.445 117 WPX
OPHV517 990831.437 122 WPX
OPHV517 990901.485 126 WPX
All observations by Peter Williams, Heathcote NSW. 30cm newtonian.
