SN 2002ho

NGC 4210, a host galaxy of SN 2002ho, is a barred-spiral galaxy. The SN was superimposed on the southern arm. Typical SN Ia in this galaxy would have a maximum of mag about 14.5, but it seems not the case for this SN (vsnet-campaign-sn 498). It turned out to be type Ic SN within a few weeks after maximum (vsnet-campaign-sn 502).
