SN 2002F
The host galaxy is UGC 2885, and its recession velocity predicts the
maximum for a typical SN Ia is 16.7mag. The object was discovered at
18.1mag, possibly in the rising phase (vsnet-campaign-sn
315). It turned out to be of type II as shown in a spectrum taken
by the CfA team (vsnet-campaign-sn
320).
