SN 2002eo

The LOTOSS team discovered SN 2002eo on images taken on August 20 when it was 18.0mag. NGC 710, the host galaxy of SN 2002eo, is a disturbed spiral galaxy. The expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 16.5 (vsnet-campaign-sn 465). The Asiago team and the UCB team report that it is type II SN (vsnet-campaign-sn 471).
