SN 2001ig
SN 2001ig became quite bright, and recorded 12th mag in the early January.
Its spectrum (on Dec. 16.1) resembled to SN IIb 1993J but much bluer
and more rapidly expanding (vsnet-campaign-sn
303, 307,
308,
314,
316,
322).
IAUC 7793 informed that the spectrum of this SN IIb made a transition
from type II to type Ib/c-like one around Jan. 13.0. The expansion velocity
was quite larger and the luminosity seems brighter (if it is further than
10Mpc) than the typical SN IIb 1993J on the similar phase (vsnet-campaign-sn
313).
