GX Cas : Two superoutbursts in June and November
The long-period SU UMa-type dwarf nova, GX Cas experienced a superoutburst
started on June 24 when M. Reszelski reported the magnitude of 13.6mag
(vsnet-campaign-dn 931).
The superoutburst lasted for almost two weeks
(vsnet-campaign-dn 967).
The next outburst was reported on September 9 by H. McGee at
13.8mag, however rapidly finished
(vsnet-campaign-dn 1526,
1557).
On November 23, H. Itoh reported a relatively bright (13.5mag)
outburst
(vsnet-campaign-dn 1942).
J. Ripero reported 13.9mag in the next day
(vsnet-campaign-dn 1949).
