Nova Cassiopeiae 1995 = V723 Cas

Nova Cas 1995, discovered by Minoru Yamamoto (VSOLJ), is considered to be a rare slow nova of HR Del (Nova Del 1967) type. (for discussions, see comment by T. Kato, Munari's reply, Duerbeck's comment, from VSNET archives) This nova stayed at around 9-th magnitude for three months, and rose by 0.5 magnitude in late October, followed by a dramatic brightening to 7-th magnitude, then declined rapidly.

Brightened again! (Feb. 16)
