[vsolj-alert 929] Possible SN in NGC 3953

山岡＠九大理 です。

以下の確認依頼が来ています。NGC 3953はかなり近い(おとめ座銀河団と同程
度)ので、Ia型なら極大で12等台という、年に1つあるかないかのものになる可
能性があります。もし確認（または否認）できましたら、このリストと
Dimai(alex@sunrise.it) およびMigliardi(istitalb@sunrise.it) に連絡をお
願いできませんでしょうか。

CBATへの通報は、加藤さんのほうからしていただけると幸いです。おそらく
CBAT内でもconfirmation依頼が回っていることとは思います。

my best friend Marco Migliardi has discovery an apparent SN in ngc3953
at 12,90 august u.t. I enclose the discovery image and I ask to you if
is possible to imaged the galaxy tonight for a confirmation.

Alessandro Dimai (Italy) reports the discovery by Marco Migliardi and
Edi Dal Farra , Tourtour, Haut-Provence, France, of an apparent
supernova (mag.+14.5) on CCD images taken on Aug. 12.9 TU (limiting
mag.about +17) with 0.2-m f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope + CCD
Hi-Sis 44 in the course of the CROSS program (cf. IAUC 7373). The
apparent supernova was cinfirmed by a second image taken 12.93 TU. The
new object is located at 18" west and 100" north of the nucleus of NGC
3953. A CROSS image of the same field taken on 2001 April 13 showed
nothing at the position of the apparent supernova (limiting mag about
18.5) and it does not appear on Palomar Sky Survey images.
