[vsolj-alert 490] BL Lac major optical outburst


　活動中のBL Lacですが、手元の資料でみる限り1968年以来の歴史的な明るさに
　達している様子です。

BL Lac major optical outburst

   Upon recent notification of the activity of BL Lac, our CCD observations
on Nov. 30 (Makoto Uemura and Taichi Kato) recorded extremely brightness
of Rc=12.21, with appreciable intranight variation peaking around 30.56UT.
The brightness closely rivals the outburst in 1968, when the historical
maximum of V=12.0 was reached.

   Visual and CCD photometry observations reported to VSNET so far indicate
the remarkable source activity began since November 25, after a gradual
increase of the activity in the preceding months.
