DO Dra outburst 以下の増光速報が入っています。明るいUG型で、しかもめったに見られるもの ではありません。これまでのアウトバーストは非常に短時間のものが多いため、 ぜひすぐ望遠鏡を向けてみてください。 From: "eddy muyllaert" <eddy.muyllaert@ping.be> Date: Mon, 20 Sep 1999 22:03:26 +0200 Subject: [vsnet-alert 3508] DO Dra in bright outburst!! DO Dra is in bright outburst : mag. 11.2 on September 20.830 UT Seq. AAVSO From: Patrick Schmeer <extpasc@rz.uni-sb.de> Date: Tue, 21 Sep 1999 07:05:29 +0200 (CST) Subject: [vsnet-alert 3510] Rare outburst of DO Dra (independent detection) Visual magnitude estimates by P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany: DO DRACONIS (NLDQ) Sep. 18.81 UT, [13.5 ; 21.142, 10.7 Sequence: V= 9.64 (H/T), V= 10.800 (Henden and Honeycutt) Instrument: 203-mm SCT Independent outburst detection! No further observations since Saturday due to bad weather. The clouds arrived here just during the rise of V725 Aql towards maximum, and vanished just when DO Dra had reached maximum brightness :-( (so the intended morning (3h UT) and evening (19h) observations of DO Dra on Sunday and Monday had to be cancelled). The most recently observed outburst of this intermediate polar occurred in 1996, when Gary Poyner detected it at mv= 12.7 on Oct. 16.784 UT (cf. IAUC 6493) (once again I was clouded out). Complete listing of the visually observed outbursts of DO Dra: 1985 Oct. 28 S. Lubbock (IAUC 4130) 1988 Mar. 30 G. Dyck and S. Lubbock (IAUC 4574) 1990 Sep. 25 G. Dyck and P. Schmeer (IAUC 5101) 1996 Oct. 16 G. Poyner (IAUC 6493) 1999 Sep. 20 E. Muyllaert and P. Schmeer The mean outburst interval is about 2.5 years from 1985 to 1990 and about 3.0 years from 1990 to 1999 (an outburst in 1996 may have been missed).
