SBS1017+533
ということで、次のalertを出しておきました。今回は時期的にも、アウトバース
ト早期でもあることから、superhumpを捕まえるには大変よいチャンスです。
Likely superoutburst of SBS1017+533
H. Maehara (vsnet-alert 2903) reports the detection of a bright outburst
of the recently identified SU UMa-star, SBS1017+533. The object was
independently discovered by the SBS survey and by the RASS optical
identification of ROSAT sources. The suggested ROSAT association based on
the former information, relayed via VSNET, Garanavich discovered the object
in outburst in late January, 1998 (vsnet-alert 1441). Time-resolved CCD
photometry by T. Vanmunster revelaed the presence of superhumps (CVC 161,
vsnet-alert 1448; CVC 162, vsnet-alert 1450) with a period of 0.0697 d.
D. Nogami (vsnet-alert 1452) also detected superhumps with a period of
0.069 d.
The present presumable superoutburst is the first known since 1998
Jannuary, though several fainter outbursts have been detected (T. Watanabe,
VSOLJ Variable Star Bulletin). Time-resolved photometry at this early stage
of superoutburst is very strongly encouraged.
