Rapid fading of Nova Oph 1998

In the course of spectroscopic imaging at the Wise observatory on August 2nd,
Noph98 appeared to be fainter than about magnitude 16.
Reports from July 23rd. estimate the magnitude at around 14.5. My
latest observation indicates that the nova is considerably fainter than the
comparison star 14.4 to its south and even a bit fainter than the ~15.5 mag
stars in the field.
