VSOLJ on-line database update

Dear Colleagues,

    The VSOLJ (Variable Star Observers League in Japan) has updated the
on-line database.  The database now contains 1447206 observations reported
up to 1999 December.

  The directory
  ftp://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/VSOLJ/database/stars/
  contains files of individual objects (two formats, in UT and JD).

  ftp://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/VSOLJ/database/code.txt
  key to observers

  Individual file can be also browsed from the GCVS main page:
  http://www.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/gcvs/index.html

  Please read the instruction file first, before using the database:
