IAUC 6841 reports the discovery by Mark Armstrong of SN 1998V in
NGC 6627. The Circular gives coordinates for the SN, but not the galaxy:
SN 1998V 18 22 37.40 +15 42 08.0 (2000, mean of two measurements on IAUC)
NGC 6627 18 22 38.9 +15 41 53 (2000, mean of GSC v1.1 and A1.0)
...or about 26" in position angle 305 degrees from the galaxy center.
