Along with the recent series of sequences for variable stars, I have also produced a skeleton sequence around the Ring Nebula (Messier 57 = NGC 6720) principally for the use of visual deep-sky observers. The stars were observed with the 53cm Lowell telescope as usual, but only on a single night each (on four different nights), and range between 8.7 < V < 14.6. All the details, including a labelled chart from a DSS image, can be found at Tom Polakis' Web site, at the URL: http://www.goodnet.com/~polakis/M57/M57.html 'VSnet' folks may find this useful for calibrating CCDs, educational purposes, and so on. Comments welcome. \Brian Skiff (bas@lowell.edu)
