[vsnet 839] need pictures for a CD-Rom

Hello,

I'm working at the Meudon's french observatory on a CD-Rom project in
collaboration with the French National Research Center (CNRS)
and other french and american instituts.
The goal of the CD-Rom is to put the user in the place of an astronomer
(amateur and professionnel, after some experiences).
To make the CD-Rom as realistic as possible, we need real observations
taken all over the world, in amateur club and at professionel site.
We are especially looking for nice amateurs pictures from Messier,
NGC objects, and every time-variing objetcs (CV, SN, ...)

We are looking for amateur clubs and astronomers to collaborate.
The possible collaboration are:
- sending a description of your amateur club (with photos of the
observation site if possible), with exact location (apha, delta),
adresses and description of the material used (telescope and CCD's).
- sending observations data (CCD images or photos) of:
   * any nice picture taken in amateur observatory (with L60, 115/900,
C8, T60 for example,) with jpg format (thousand colours)
or slices or real pictures we can scann or also all video which you
     think to be interesting.
   * Cataclysmic Variables: if possible all-night-long serie of
images of an object showing the time variations.
   * Super-novae,Novae and comets images with time evolution if
     possible.

All the material we will finaly use will be with the reference of the
observer and observatory where it was taken.
There is no commercial exchange. The benefit for the astronomers
(amateur or professionnel) will be a world wide notorious
as the CD ROM will be distributed in several languages.
