Likely new variable star (of unknown nature)
We have received the following report of a new variable star. The object
is not cataloged either in IRAS or MSX5C.

Hello,
I took a series of images of IC1396 over a two week period and noticed one
star that seemed to brighten slightly. I have no idea where to report this
or how to obtain survey images as Brian Skiff points out below. Can you
offer advise? What is the procedure for reporting a possible new variable?
The star is located at: 21 37 17.01 +57 26 18.5 (2000)
