[vsnet-unknown 15] re unknown 13 : AC Sco; AF Sco

An idea in such circumstances is to look at the image archive.
Urlificate to:

http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/applications/2MASS/ReleaseVis/

and make your selection about 180 arcsecs wide, and choose all bands.

A quick look for AC Sco reveals the image size is immense & seriously
overexposed in _all_ bands! It could be difficult to give a true
magnitude in such cases, and I believe there is an upper brightness
limit to 2MASS due to such problems... ...I can't find the right
documentation at the moment [there is a _lot_ of 2MASS documentation,
spread over many webpages].

AF Sco appears to be an even worse case! These stars are _red_!
