     I agree with JG that it looks as though I goofed in not looking
carefully at the magnitudes and magnitude-ranges of ASAS 052020-6902.4 
and LMC V2139.  The GCVS v5 is almost certainly correct so my GSC and HDE
links are incorrect.  I looks as though the ASAS I-band magnitude is for
the combined light of the two stars.
