V359 Cen new data from Berto Monard Dear Colleagues, We have received from Berto Monard a 6-hour long run (June 6) of V359 Cen during the final stage of the superoutburst. The object apparently entered the rapid fading stage, and was fading at a rate of 0.50 mag/d. Superhumps were still prominent, without a strong hint of late superhumps. After combining the data between May 31 and June 6, a mean superhump period of 0.0809 d has been derived (May 29 observation does not fit this trend, since the observation was apparently done during the growing stage of superhumps). Period derivative (Pdot) is marginally negaive during this period, but the value is not so striking as in the recent case of V877 Ara. As inferred in [vsnet-alert 7359,7365], this difference may come from the system parameters (mass-transfer rate and others?), which make a clear distinction of V359 Cen from usual long-period SU UMa-type systems.
