[vsnet-superoutburst 1068] WZ Sge: fading more rapidly?

WZ Sge: fading more rapidly?

Dear Colleagues,

We have received new data from L. Cook and D. Buczynski (2 nights).
We are also analyzing new Kyoto data (2 nights).

As reported by L. Cook, 0.25-mag humps are present, with indications
of eclipses. Detailed time-series analysis is under way.

Moreover, the most recent observations (since Oct. 11) seem to suggest
that the fading trend has become more apparent. Although the finding
needs to be confirmed by further observations/analysis and/or more detailed
zero-point adjustment of the data, it may be possible that the star has
entered another different stage of the late post-superoutburst stage.

Observers are strongly requested to monitor WZ Sge closely. Please
always keep your raw images to allow for future detailed PSF photometry.

Regards,
Taichi Kato
